A fan remake of Lola Rennt

Lily (Kangana Ranaut) receive a frantic phone call from her boyfriend Mani (Rajkummar Rao). Mani, a small time criminal, needs one lakh in the next 20 minutes to give to his boss or he’s dead.

Mani plans to rob a supermarket, but Lily says she will ask her banker father (Anupam Kher) for money.

First Run

Lily runs from her apartment, colliding with a woman pushing a baby carriage and later causing a car accident that involves one of her father’s colleagues.

Her father refuses to help her, explaining he is not her biological father and that he is eloping with his pregnant mistress. Lily is escorted out.

Mani is unable to get the money from a friend. He prepares to rob the story; Lily tries to stop him, but then ends up joining him. They get the money, but are surrounded by police when they leave the store. Mani tosses the bag of money into the air; a confused policeman shoots Lily.

Lily doesn’t want to leave Mani and Lily doesn’t want to die. The day resets.

Second Run

Lily runs from her apartment, tripping over a dog, which slows her down. She still collides with the woman pushing a baby carriage and still causes a car accident. However, when she arrives at the bank, her father’s mistress is already there. As her father and his mistress argue, Lily leaves.

She returns, grabbing a security guard’s gun. She robs the bank is able to escape because police think she is a fleeing hostage.

Mani has again been unable to get the money from a friend. This time he hears Lily call his name; before he enters the store, he is hit by a car and killed.

Third Run

Lily runs from her apartment, avoiding the dog and woman with baby carriage. She prevents the car accident, which allows her father’s colleague to pick him up on time.

With no way to get money from a bank, Lily runs to a nearby casino.  Lily wins two consecutive bets, raising the lakh Mani needs.

Mani decides to rob a rich man. During the ensuing chase, Mani causes a car crash that kills Lily’s father.  In the chaos, Mani is able to grab the man’s wallet, which has enough money. By the time Lily arrives, Mani has already paid his boss.

As the two meet up, Mani casually asks Lily what is in her bag. The movie freezes on her exasperated face.
